BLACKFORD BREWERY

ABOUT US
We started our business with one goal in mind: no valet parking, no farm-to-table restaurant, just a couple of guys who wanted to make really good beer.
We get our name from the history books. Blackford in Perthshire is said to be the first brewery in Scotland. This is also where King James IV was said to have purchased a barrel of ale. This Scottish Brewery follows in the steps of our ancestors and tends to pour with a heavy hand. The term “wee-Heavy” originated when these strong ales were sold in 1/3 Imperial pints with the same ABV as a normal size.
